Hosting
Where are the servers?
Your websites, databases and mailboxes live on servers in a data centre in Vienna. We process your data in line with the GDPR.
Can you move my existing website?
Yes. We help you move from cPanel and other hosts, including email and databases.
How do I reach support?
By phone and email – straight to our team in Vienna, in German or English.
Ordering and payment
Do I need my own domain?
No. You get a free address like yourname.webhosting.1.wien and can connect your own domain at any time.
How can I pay?
By card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay), SEPA Direct Debit or eps. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card and bank details never reach our servers.
Which VAT do I pay?
Private customers pay the VAT of their EU country, 20% in Austria. Businesses with a valid VAT ID from another EU country get invoices without VAT (reverse charge). You see the exact price before you order.
When is my hosting ready?
After payment and the confirmation of your email address we set up your hosting and email you the access details. As a private customer you can ask us to start right away when you order; otherwise we start on the day after the 14-day withdrawal period ends.
Contract
How long am I committed?
The minimum term is 12 months. After that you can cancel every month, effective at the end of the current billing month.
How do I cancel?
In your account, or without signing in via “Cancel contracts here” in the footer. After the minimum term the contract ends at the end of the current billing month.
Can I withdraw from the contract?
As a consumer you can withdraw within 14 days of concluding the contract – online via “Withdraw from contract here” in the footer. The withdrawal policy has the details.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Every payment gets a PDF invoice – by email and in your account, with your VAT ID if you give one.
